Moose Hide Campaign | More info
May 15th is the 14th Annual Moose Hide Campaign Day. This campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys standing up against violence towards women and children. Women, girls and all genders are also very much welcome to support the campaign and its goals.
The campaign is targeted at men and boys because we know that women are far more likely to be victims of domestic violence and sexual harassment than men, and while women have been at the forefront of efforts to end domestic violence, gender-based violence and inequality, men have largely been absent in these efforts.
In joining the campaign, you make a promise to:
By wearing a moose hide pin and taking part in other events, you will be demonstrating your commitment to giving women and children the respect, safety, and security they deserve. (Order Pins Here)
CUPE is holding an emergency live and interactive telephone town hall with CUPE executive members across Canada on April 7th at 7 p.m. ET to discuss Trump’s tariffs on Canada, the current federal election and other important issues.
